I admit it I failed I joined up for this in a fit of optimism but with no job it was not realistic. I'm one of the horrible blanks on the spreadsheet. However I have paid just over 5k off my credit cards this year and I only have a thousand left to pay. I hope this is here next year because I will have half a job in 2014 and I will pay my 10k off.
Well done all you people I applaud you.Debt Free by 2016

Well done :beer: and good luck in the new job in 20140 -
1000 op for me today.
That, coupled with my drop in interest rates, means we've now paid off 25% of the mortgage, in 2.5 years, and are down to £12 interest a day.... well, it started at £19 so although it still seems a huge amount, it's a massive improvement!

Number 148 reporting in with an OP of £160 for November.
An improvement from my usual £100 each month, I made this possible by re-assessing my finances which I have to say is a result of reading the very posts on this site which made me want to put down a bit extra each month. Thanks guys!0 -
Logging on to provide an update to the challenge - number 38 - Life threw me a curve ball which floored me. Luckily had an regular standing order set up and have still being overpaying, but not been on the site. Still hoping for an OP later in December, but here's whats been acheived so far:
Total overpayments in each month:
April = £844.97
May = £841.63

July = £841.63

A few early December ops coming in. If I didn't know better I'd think people were getting up to date ready to sign up for the 2014MFW

Quite a few hitting their targets too as can be seen by the plentiful happy smilies
Calfuray, southportguy, rainbowcattail, Lomcevak (another target reached :T), liz-paul, Needhelpsaving, muddywhitechicken, kirstypark, elliejay, Kerfuffle, icontinuetodream, JCL, chocoholic_chick, rockabelle (another :T), NewMoneySaver13, pawlala, slowlyfading all have ops added for November.

With OS QS updating for the last few months we're now just over £50,000 short of the target that eluded us last year :beer:
