  • Hi Voucherman
Can I be in again please? I Don't mind what number. Target £2000. I'm hoping to do more but we need a new roof so that's probably quite realistic.
    Many thanks :)

    Hi Voucherman.
I'd like to join in with target of £12 000
This will be incredibly tough as at the moment we probably manage about a third of that and I've just gone part time! However, we need to make this target to meet our goal to be mortgage neutral and if we can't reach the target we will need to re-evaluate our goal and possibly downsize.

  • Hi Voucher Man

I was 49 on 2012 challenge but have been MIA and see that is taken. Can you please add me to this year's spreadsheet - whatever number is available please. I'm going to aim for £10,000 overpayment this year please.

    Thanks

  • Hi there, have just joined the forum. Do I still have time to nip in and join the challenge? I'm going to aim to pay an extra £4,000 off my mortgage. Thanks.

New challengers are welcome right up until 31st December (2013) - although by then I expect most would be signing up for 2014

Hot damn, I have had no internet, and logging on at work :( So ofc, my number "10" has gone.

Lets see, so the max OP is £6k we can pay a year (£500/mth), but that is not going to be achieveable, with a £3k bill in January for new windows, front door and patio doors. This will really make our home a lot warmer.

And by the end of autumn, I want the big outbuilding / garage gone from the garden, as I do not want any of that dust etc flying about if we get lucky...

Umm, so what should our target be?

We have a SO of £100 as an OP each month (£1.2k), so I will make our target:
    £3,000

Any chance of my Number being #127? As I would like to MF when I am 50, which is 2027. Unlikely I know, but I can dream...

Ta for all your future work Mr V, we all appreciate it.

    Marie

  • Hi, please can I join? I fell by the wayside in 2012 and didn't update from February (until about 20 mins ago).

I don't mind what number I am and I am aiming to overpay by £1,200 in 2013.

We've got an off-set mortgage so I do some OP and some adding to savings. For the purposes of this challenge I'm just counting the actual OPs. Thinking of joining the MFiT for overall reduction of mortgage outstanding which will, sort of, take both into account. Hmmm, last year I didn't manage to update one challenge, will I manage to update 2 this year...

Thanks to Voucher Man for doing all the paperwork
