I think there's an advanced search in eBay where you can find out your sellers address, but I'm not totally sure - might be some help if thats true
They only give you their phone number and postcode - which in have.
I'm just leaving it for now - and see if they file a NPB.
When that time passes - i will leave a neg.
Just thought their might be a procedure for reporting them - but seems there's not.0 -

I ask for address , to collect and pay cash, and he's ignoring me. Clicked on resolve a problem and there's nothing i can do. Ive just had the Ebay message reminding me to pay.
How about sending that again, and also try online chat with eBay so at least if you do get reported for non payment they'll have some notes to refer back to.0 -
And if the buyer pays cash,it doesn't matter where the seller lives or where the item was picked up from.
But I guess the ad never said it was working. So I'm not convinced the OP would win a dispute for it not working, anyway.0 -
Just had the same type of thing, twice this week. Won two fairly local auctions with collection offered. Both wanted paying via paypal, so I obliged, and both took days between emails when I asked where and when to collect.
Ended up meeting one in the street near his house.
I think it doesn't occur to people who offer collection what it entails.0 -
To be honest if they didnt give me there address i would not buy it. If it was an electrical item i would want to test it first :P0

Techspec,
Personally, I'd give eBay a ring, referring them to the messages between you and the seller. Highlight the seller is refusing to provide an address for pick up and completion of the transaction ... then adding the 'option' of a surcharge of £15.
Frankly, the fact that they won't provide an address and want to meet somewhere else and only want cash suggests to me the item is faulty. I'd concentrate on avoiding the NPB and give up on getting a dodgy item. You certainly don't want to incur an extra £15 to find it's faulty and then have to send it back tracked.
PS If they were above board, they would jump at the chance of an easy cash sale at their doorway, which suggests they are far from above board."The secret of life is honesty and fair dealing.
...If you can fake that, you've got it made."
