2012 Christmas Payments

i was due to be paid on 27th dec so last payments i payed 2 months bills so i could have money for xmas.now ive been left with no money as i will be payed on as normal. very misleading they should have sent a letter to confirm this !!! an advisor told me i would be payed early? im on esa and disability what do i do now ???? christmas ruined ! :-)

Hi can anyone let me know whether il be recieving my esa monday 24th??? If its due Thursday 27th???

I have a feeling it may not, as in my bank account my tax credits went in on Saturday, but thats not showeing yet on my transactions...meaning the date its gone is the 24th.

Im just hoping im wrong and that theres still a little chance i may get it Monday.

Do you get your Esa thurday 27th and Dla Tuesday 1st?
And paid into your bank account?
Thats the same as me, if you do.
Have you rung up then to find out bout the 27th esa payment?

you will get it on the due date as in Dec 27th as that is a normal banking day.

Not necessarily - my tax credits is due on 27th but is showing in my account now (dated 24th).

What about payments due on the 28th will they go in on the 24th as well

No they will go in on the 28th.

The only days that money goes in early in Dec 24th/25th/26th and Jan 1st all other payment dates are the normal days.

Child Benefit due on Dec 31st will go in on Dec 28th.

well i dnt know about anyone else but i was due a payment today , tomorrow and wednesday 24th 25th and 26th of december and now thanks to job centre or government who changed the christmas payment rules we will not be having a christmas as no money has gone into bank..i am not the only one as i was the 24th person to go into the middlesbrough officce to ask where my payment is to be told there will be no-one there noe until thursday... thanks alot ...wonder what i will tell my 8 yr old now

My tax credits were due today and were paid on the 22nd.
I am assuming that my money that is due on the 1st will be paid on the 29th but wont hold my breath.:(
