Neighbours think I'm a peeping Tom

We have new neighbours two young builders. I happened to glance up to their bathroom window whilst I was in the garden I heard a strange noise and one of them was in the shower, the bathroom window is only slightly glazed so doesn't leave much to the imagination. The bathroom window was open & he caught my eye, I quickly went indoors embarrassed but over heard them talking about 'their peeping Tom neighbour.
I wasn't staring I just glanced up when I heard what sounded like a animal noise. I don't want the street to think I'm a peeping Tom I'm a mature woman with children.
Do I confront my neighbour? What would I say?

They're probably just embarrassed and trying to make light of the situation... unless they're being deliberately malicious then there's no need for anyone to be starting a confrontation. The whole situation sounds a bit odd, but these things happen and I'm sure sensible adults will just be able to make a joke of it0

If they're too stupid to put a blind over the window, it's their call as to what they expose to the world at large. Quite frankly, I would worry more about them being done for indecent exposure than your having to guard where you glance whilst pottering abut in the garden!0

You wouldn't have wanted your children to have glanced up and seen them, they should put a blind up.0

It was only a matter of time till someone brought hypothetical children into this...
Nothing happened. You glanced up and saw your neighbour in the bathroom. You promptly looked away (...obviously), and now you think they see you as a peeping tom. Well, just go knock on their door and tell them about the window situation. Have a laugh about it. No harm done. It's not like they parade naked on your front lawn, is it?0 -

What do you mean only slightly glazed?
I'd not say anything, perhaps put a gift wrapped window blind brochure through their door for Christmas? With a card that says 'Thanks for the impromptu entertainment in 2012 but it's far too much for me. Love Tom'If you haven't got it - please don't flaunt it. TIA.0 -
I wouldn't worry about it, just forget it, im sure they will...unless your 'gardening' every shower time lol.0

Next time, do it when it's dark. Or do you have any suitable bushes you can hide in in your garden? That way, you won't be as conspicuous when you're peeping."One day I realised that when you are lying in your grave, it's no good saying, "I was too shy, too frightened."
Because by then you've blown your chances. That's it."0 -

That he has committed an offence contrary to s66 of the Sexual Offences Act 2003, but that you'll let it slide this time, as long as he puts a blind up.0
