Problems unlocking samsung galaxy s2
I bought a 2nd hand samsung galaxy s2 off ebay which was locked to O2 network.
Took the mobile to be unlocked at an unlocking store and they told me it had been unlocked successfully. However my Tesco sim card does not work in it. I checked a Vodafone sim and this one works. Tried Three network sim and this does not work and neither does an Orange.
Spoke with the store and they said to contact Tesco, so rang tesco and they said that if the phone is unlocked like they said it is then there is nothing Tesco can do and to go back to the store.
I am wondering now if the phone is dodgy or if its been reported lost/stolen.
But how come vodafone works but no other network (apart from the original O2)?
Anyone out there with any idea of what to do??? :-) SPent a lot of money so want to make sure that I can get the phone to work or try and see if I can get a refund somehow......

Go back to the person that said they had Unlocked the phone
May be they need to do it again
If it was reported lost/stolen it would have been block (No signal )
none of the Sims would have worked
I had my S2 done over eBay and the codes were sent to me with-in 2hrs when i put the codes in it worked first time they even sent me two other codes just in-case i muck it up.Nobody is Perfect. I am Nobody, therefore I am Perfect.

Wished I'd had a go at unlocking it myself now. I will definitely go back to the shop to get them to try again with it. It cost me so much, I will be gutted if my tesco sim does not work in it. Keep you posted.0

The mobile store did a diagnostic on the mobile and its come back saying that the mobile phone is actually blocked!! I am unsure what to now. Is this a legal matter or do I just simply contact the ebay seller and ask for a refund? Anyone know what to do with blocked mobiles?I bought a 2nd hand samsung galaxy s2 off ebay which was locked to O2 network.

I would contact Ebay directly and tell them immediately that you've been sold what you now know to be a stolen phone. They will then liaise with the seller for you to get your money back. They may advise you take the phone to your local Police station - I wouldn't send it back to the seller unless you absolutely have to, because they'll just go and sell it on to another unsuspecting buyer again.Official DFW Nerd 1390 MFW 0/1800
