thats what I said - I was like "I'm not asking £50 - it's £5.60!!!!!!!!
But they then turned it into the PRINCIPLE of getting £5.60 back rather then the fact it was faulty.

I found an empty box at the recycling centre :T put the powder that I had left in it and took it back to the shop this morning, no receipt but no problem, in fact I got double my money back (£5.60) because of what it was

I have 3 boys who all suffer from severe excema.(all seen at hospital every 6 weeks or so)..Fairy drives them mad,I have found L**ls own non bio to be great xx

Sounds like they took the WalMart attitude from the states, so cleverly illustrated by Jeff Dunhams "Walter" puppet "Welcome to Walmart (Asda)... get your s*** and get out!"

Yes, we experienced the same problem with it clumping into a solid mass exactly like a chunk of ice in the dispenser drawer and not going into the machine. We had to stop the cycle, break it out of the drawer, bin it and add a gel instead. Worst £1 we've spent! We'll try and take the box back tomorrow now we've read all these comments. They should take it off the shelves as it's not fit for the purpose!

yep same here it clumped up in the drawer.i stopped buying it. i buy the comfort etc when its on offer.

I've had this problem with my most recent box of Asda SmartPrice - though until now, I've been singing its praises .

However, for the past two weeks they've had none in store. This week, out of desperation, I bought a bottle of the Asda SmartPrice Laundry Liquid ................. - at least that can't clump and set solid .

I have used this for years and my last box was the same, I thought the jets of water in to the drawer had clogged up. I will not be buying it again either.

Is this powder a lot cheaper per wash than the huge boxes of mainstream powder you can buy?

about half the price. around £3 per LARGE box.

Asda's attitude to the whole thing discusted me for such a large chain store. they couldn't care less about their customers.
I went and got 2 large box's of another brand for just £4 a large box in Mr T and they seem to last much longer, work perfectly and I'm not even halfway through the 2nd one yet.

Will be keeping my eye out for a good buy for the next one.
