hello guys, my first post on here, but i have looked around for a while
my question is, do any one use a satellite broadband provider in the uk?
i do live in a broadband area, with the adsl2 ect, but i dont want line rental (i use a vonage box for my "house" phone). nor talktalk or any one associated with them due to them having a lot of problems around me
so my only option currently is satellite as we dont have cable
now i would be happy to pay for an "unlimited package" but its finding it difficult actually finding them. is there any suppliers recommended?
thanks for any help
Gareth

There is no satellite BB unless you want to pay dearly for it. Even satellite low band requires a back channel - so his would use a landline for PC> web. Although expensive (in comparison to ADSL, GSM dongles are the only realistic option.0

That's bad news. I hear that satellites are rampant in Romania and we don't even have them!
that said, Romania is a small country. So...Living off £450 per month is easy...! If you aren't single! :j0 -

Doesn't require a phone line for uploads but £100/month for 18Mb/s with a 50GB cap.0
