Happy New Year and New Life Marru.

It has been so long since I logged onto MSE - I did have a bit of a nervous breakdown and I also lost my password. Things have changed here too - I have a house and I am divorced:j

Hope you log back on and see this message. Sweden sounds ace.

    Hello,

The yellow thing is back in the sky, life gets better.

I am yet again planning. But to be honest I should just stop now!!! I have been planning so many times before and nothing has materialized. Perhaps it is time to take it day at a time. There are things to get sorted thou. My never ending filing, my never ending sorting out stuff (stuff in its place and place for all the stuff), keeping only stuff that is loved and/or needed. And so on!

So my weight loss last year was successful. I lost ten kilos. I am planning to start again on Thursday and get rid of another ten. So I guess that will be the no one for time being. Also I am starting to cycle to work again after winter. Should save some money and get the endorphins going.

Where have I been all this time? I have practically moved to Ravelry (I am there as Marruknits). I have found several knitting meets in my area and have been knitting. My yarn stash has exploded to 14 kilos and I am now knitting through it to get it into bit more manageable amount. So 10 kilos off me and the same off the stash. Should be good.

Horace, good thing that you are back, got your house and the divorce sorted. Well done!!

Good to see you back Marru.

I have too much stuff - I have a room full of stuff to be carbooted but it has been too wet and I have been too skint. Thankfully I don't have the worry of paying rent as my parents are my landlords and they have arranged for me to have a new entry door and a new door on the freezer shed because I can only close it with a bit of wire. Plans are afoot to change all the doors in the house (although mum was not best pleased when I told her they were all different sizes), she is looking at replacing the gas fire (I hate the thing) and has offered to put French doors in as well. Now I like the idea of French doors onto my patio especially since it has been edged with old Victorian blue edging tiles that I dug up out of the garden (still boggling as to why they were put in the ground upside down so the wavy side was at the bottom and the flat side was at the top).

Marruknits sounds like a good business name to me - glad you are having fun. I have been trying to teach myself to crochet but I just cannot crochet a square somehow I always end up with a round (it is a skill that I have I guess lol).

Hope you and the family are settling in well. Well done on the fabby weightloss too - somehow I have managed to pile weight on when I need to be shifting it.
