Evening all:wave::wave::wave::wave:,
Its been another busy day for me and I havent had a chance to post on here or even read the threads. Have been doing the housework, coursework and shopping. Went to Tesco where there was a foodbank collection going on, so I added a few extras and gave those as I left. I also have a few items to send to my dughters school, as they are doing a collection as well. Seems to be a lot of people struggling nowadays. I need to look at the emergency larder thread as my own is pretty sparse and yet I seem to shop all the time.I am clearly not moneysaving enough and very unorganised.
Dinner is chicken and rice and I sneaked a chocolate fudge cake into my shopping basket for afters
. Rest of evening will be a cross between of getting uniforms sorted for the kids for school and watching tv. Oh and looking at the 5 books that I got for a pound, at the carboot sale today
Hope everyone is ok, Big hugs to those that need one.xxx“Love yourself first and everything else falls into line. Your really have to love yourself to get anything done in this world.” Lucille Ball.0 -
Evening everyone
LW - sending positive vibes your way, as others had said we'd all miss you terribly x
Bitsy - I'm going to an Andre Rieu concert in a couple of weeks, really looking forward to it as we've been trying to get tickets for a while, wasn't cheap though, and we've had to book a 1 night hotel stay too as it's too far to come home after the concert - actually I think it's a ploy on DH's part to take me away for the night without the kids??!!
;);)
Roast lamb was delicious, and there is plenty left, so have another good meal for all 4 of us still to have - will make a pot of gravy and put meat in and put in oven - this will be Tuesday nights' dinner.
Once we'd had dinner we got pots etc washed/put in DW and cleared up in the kitchen, then I went for a lovely leisurely hot bath, and read my book, so now have my pj's and fleecly dressing gown on - feel very content.
Enjoy the rest of the what's left of the weekend, keep safe and well x

My heated gloves work a treat and are not too bulky :T:T:TI must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.

Ooh lucky you. He is playing NIA or NEC this month if memory serves (if that's where you're coming) but £95 a ticket......bit too pricey  have a great time I think he's fab. My parents have a number of his DVDs and they look like great fun

Moorhen - I went today too! Shame, we could have met up!Off to the Good Food Show in Birmingham later with DD1 and DD2.
Looking forward to it.
Judi - congrats to DD
LW - sending love
I'm shattered! Been to the Good Food Show today in Birmingham, it's 5hour return journey by car, but was worth it. I went with my friend from uni. Lots of yummy samples, and I bought some nice cheese. We saw James Martin in the theatre show. And a few other celeb chefs around the place. I was a little disappointed that there was not many actual food stalls, like noodle bars or veggie specialists. But overall it was a good day out.
Night all
