    Morning all.

Well it's payday today :j Which means budgeting starts here. I have £17.75p left in my purse from the weekend and it has to last as long as it can.

I am aiming for a NSD today and I think at least 4 a week (more if I can manage it) I don't need to get anything just yet and when I do I'll just have to look around for the cheapest options.

So the idea is that I stick to my budgets. I am allowing myself £10 a week for spends (anything and everything) and £20 for the bank holiday weekend (this may go up, but will be recooped elsewhere) I've had another sale on Amazon, so that is going well.

So I'll let you know how I get on. I have a feeling it is going to be hard work but there is nothing I can do about it and it will be a good lesson to learn.

I'm feeling positive and looking forward to the challenge. I'm going to take each week at a time and it''l all be ok. One of my loan repayments has left me account, so I will be able to update my sig correctly once I work out if I got the interest right (I'm never to sure!)

So here's to budgeting and reducing the debt, while learning how to look after money for the future

    Wish me luck!!

Good luck Lucy! You can do it!!!

Maintaining a dfw lifestyle is incredibly tough and we all will slip up from time to time and blow our budgets now and again, but as long as the majority of the time we are good then we will still become debt free and happier.

My payday is not until after the bank holiday on the 31st, ages and ages away!

Getting paid on the 20th did take some getting used to. And a lot of organising as I had to move all my Direct debts. But just makes for a bit of a strange month really.

So working hard at it and trying not to burnout I think will be the hardest thing.

Well not a NSD for me today.

A work colleagues Father has died, so we are sending her a card and some flowers, but nothing more than that today.

    Nice and simple.

Been good with food and looking forward to my bacon, egg, chips and beans later. Yummy!!

    Morning all.

Well I had a reasonably good day yesterday, although I am still really tired. Just would out that my small loan and store card payment have taken me below £9,500 again :D I've been here before so I will not add to my debt again!!! Once the store card payment has cleared I only have one more to make and the nasty little blighter will die!!!! DIE!! I tell you it will :T :D :j Which means I will have £100 free to pay something else off. My small loan has hit under £500 and my big loan is going to be under £8,000 by the time this months payment has gone through.

Very exciting. Dropping into the next hundred or thousand really makes me feel like I am getting somewhere. Aiming for a low spend day today as I have to post an Amazon parcel which hopefully wont cost to much.

I have my stress management course to go on tonight, I'm not sure I really want to do it, but I might learn something and I guess I need to do really. It's just 2 hours of my life I could find something else to do (it's a 5 week course!)

Nevermind. I have loads of work work to do today, which involves some audio typing..... I don't do audio typing so it's going to take me most of the day  but there is no one else to do it, so I shall just have to be good and get one with it. Just hope nothing else comes up.

But I am getting there very slowly, but I feel like everything is going down for a change and not up. It's a very good feeling.

    Take care x

I'm glad you feel you're making progress, I love it when it goes down another thousand too. I'm owe less than I have in years but it's still a horribly big number!
Good luck tonight - I'm sure it'll be fine. you may even enjoy it...

    I'm so bored!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I hate audio typing!!! I've been at it an hour and I've had enough now!! i want to go home!!

    But nearly time for lunch.

Your right skint, I might enjoy it. I just hate having to give up an evening for it, especially when I am tired and could do with an early night.

Lucy, have you not finished that typing yet :D

I need your help hun, leave your work for a bit. I'm going back to work in just over a week, and I havent a clue what I'm going to do for my brekkie each day.

From looking of the SW website, all cereals seem to have a sin value, is that right? The lowest I've found is around 5 sins for a 28g bowl.

I'd rather not waste sins on cereal, and as you know, it needs to be something quick so am I stuck with fruit each day

    Help !!!

    Ok

Some cerals are healthy extras. I normal have 2 weetabix (any brand) as they could as one healthy extra B.

Do you have the main book, which lists everything, as it will tell you want they are. If not let me know I'll scan mine and email it to you.

And no I haven't, I've downloaded and put 370 photo's into a document and I am just over half way through the first side of tape 1 with tape 2 still sitting on my desk!!

Ohhh I get it now - helps if you read the blimmin book doesnt it  The book I've got is my friends, it came in a blue folder but it does have a list of a's and b's.

I have to be really careful with cereals, because I cant have anything with nuts in. Not sure I could do Weetabix (not keen), but we always have it in for the kids, so I will have a go :D

Thanks Lucy - now get on with that typing ;)
