Notice of impending court action - District Enforcement Ltd - HELP!

Hello,

I had a ticket stuck on my windscreen on 04/08/2012 at 15:10 by District Enforcement Ltd.

Admittedly I had overstayed and had been there about and hour and half.

I've ignored a load of letters from Euro Car Parks a few years ago and one from McDonalds recently. I never heard anything again from those.

So I thought I'd do the same with district enforcement LTD.

I don't have copies of the ticket or letters leading up to this one as they went straight in the shredder.

This 'notice of impending court action' letter came via Royal Mail 1st class Recorded Delivery, so they know I've received it, which did worry me a little bit.

The letter is for £90!! I have a picture of it but the forum won't let me post it up for some reason.

I've since found out they are an approved operator of the BPA.

Should I be worried or still ignore these letters?

Please help!

So would you send money to a Nigerian email scammer if they are a member of the Nigerian Scammers Association?

The BPA are just a trade organisation, dedicated to trying to promote the myth that their members issue tickets on some lawful basis. Which, as has been ruled in many courts recently, they don't.

(Same reply already given to you on PePiPoo)

I have been providing assistance, including Lay Representation at Court hearings (current score: won 57, lost 14), to defendants in parking cases for over 5 years. This company have issued claims, never seen one reach court yet.

Even when they do issue it is with the hope a claim will panic you into paying.

Nearly all if you file a defence drop it.

"Impending" is an empty threat in an attempt to make you pay them that £90. Its still something you can safely ignore and they won't do court. Other more learned than I will tell you why they won't and why you can chill out and relax and not let these scumbags give you any anxiety at all.

    Great.
Just one more thing you could do however....spread the word about these PPC's and their scare tactics/fake tickets etc etc.

Stick to the one thread and ignore.
    For everthing else there's mastercard.
