Your new garden sounds fab - must go & find something to feed the birds in mine as it's frozen solid out there and I'm taking pity of them.
Yup, heard a crash and there is was all skewiff! HA sent someone out quite quickly but it's gonna be a long job.
We've been feeding the birds Poundshop bird food. Will be more creative when I've time. Link.Debt-free day: 8th May 2015 "Remember that sometimes not getting what you want is a wonderful stroke of luck," Dalai Llama0 -
            Good morning all
Firstly I'd like to say a HUGE thank you to everyone who posted hugs and thoughts re: the poor little furry bundle. It was much appreciated to know that I'm not the only one who is darn soft about little creatures
Just catching up over the last couple of days
ally - the boiler! that face pretty much describes my reaction to that post! (well done on the wall paper though!)
DNMS - the first quilt is def nicer. I have been starting a quilt over the last few days too (first one ever!)
jonno - fingers crossed!
Well I've had quite a nice weekend (had a lovely long sleep, I only just woke up!). Went to sit with b-i-l's partner while OH and b-i-l went to a party. She insisted on buying the wine so it didn't cost me anything.
Today's list:
Bake something (poss flapjack style breakfast bars?)
Start making Christmas cards with OH. We love doing this.
Check online banking - found 10p interest added to my ISA wooooo
Get OH to order guitar strings online to remove need for a drive into town
Take quick inventory of cupboards to see if anything required. Need to go to Asda in the week for shower gel so may as well see if anything else required.
B/L/D from stores. Work out what to cook with pork chop in fridge. Had one last night, one tonight but must be used asap.
Think that's me. I'm feeling quite festive today

Opted not to go to a xmas fair today. Would have bought stuff I don't need. So instead will go through the xmas decorations and go for a walk.
Need to send back a toaster which have only had a few months and exploded this morning with sparks!
Declutter 300 things in December challenge, 9/300. Clear the living room. Re-organize storage

been busy all day so now I can appreciate what I actually did!
* had 2nd hand kitchen dropped off - complete bargain! :money:
* went to SM first thing and got a load of things reduced - veg, fruit, some meat - weekly shop £18.62 :T
* made a batch of soup (6 portions) and froze 3
* chopped and froze a load of mushrooms
* made pasties for oh's lunch for the week
* sorted out kitchen cupboards - things so messy at this point in the renovations. We now only have 2 cupboards and the larder so everything is being shoved anywhere! so did a declutter and reorganised so we know where things are!
* watched an episode of Walking Dead
* checked banking
Now going to have a glass of wine and continue looking for quilting material - Stitchy you are a legend thank you :A - if you ever need any housing advice! xDF as at 30/12/16
