Hi there. Can I ask who is making the 2014 thread. I want to join so bad!

I have opened a lloyds tsb save the change current account so all my purchases will automatically get rounded to the nearest £ and I will round the account to the nearest £10 on a weekly basis.

I will be saving from today until December 2014, which I will use for my big holiday then.

Can't wait for this, hopefully next years challenge is busier, I'm going to be doing this alongside the sealed pot challenge.

    Enjoy all!

I have already started the challenge for next year so it will be good when the new thread goes up. I have about £60 in my virtual pot although I had to borrow £20 from it when I left my purse at home the other day. I'll put this back when I've been paid. Its annoying as I'm living out of my overdraft now so no weekly visit to the bank to sweep the pennies into my virtual pot.

#30 declaring in for the last time for this year's challenge at £310.69. Really pleased with this as I've had to do this through my worst EVER financial year due to losing Mr SA's income because of his illness. Just shows what you can do when push comes to shove!

Please put my name down for the 2014 challenge.

  • Hi everyone

#2 here. My final total for the year is £351.34. I can't remember how that compares to last year but I am chuffed to bit with it anyway! So little effort with a great reward.

A massive thank you to Palema for running the challenge again this year. Can't wait for the 2014 one.

    xx

Without wishing to step on anyone's toes, I've taken the liberty of starting up the 2014 challenge which can be found here !
