  • Hello Palema
I asked to join in the challenge for 2013 but I can't find my number.
I will only be posting once a month I hope that's okay.
    Thanks WER

    Hi WER
I have looked back on this thread and I have not seen your post. If it was on the 2012 thread I will not have added you to this challenge as it is a new year/ new challenge and with so many people not posting or saving last year I decided to start again and issue new numbers to everyone.

Posting once a month is absolutely fine - everyone is different just remember to keep updating your totals and posting it on the thread :)

    Welcome aboard

    Hello
    Can I join too please?

I've opened a new savings account and started 'unofficially' a couple of weeks ago, so I'll be starting with £18.02 in the pot! :)

Having never save seriously before, I'm not sure what a realistic amount is... I think I'll go for £300 - does that sound do-able?
Whatever the total, I'll use it for Christmas next year :T

PS I will move and check in every Wednesday if that's ok :)

£300 is very doable, I managed it last year, it is amazing how quickly it all adds up each week! :D
Good luck and Happy saving :)

HI everyone, I'd like to come back into the thread for this year. I ended up having nothing left in my pot after moving in June! I'm determined to try and get as much in there this year as possible though. Already have £23.24 in there and hope to add to it as the year goes on!

    Hi Palema

Please add me to the challenge again. I've found it such a brilliant way of pain-free saving! My first deposit for 2013 is £13.35.

    Thanks!
I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)
