Phoning HSBC

I have a tip.
When I phone HSBC I always phone at 8am sharp, that way you get in the queue first at an call centre in the Uk. Once all the calls are being queued up, it overflows to other call centres abroad. (so i have been told)
This saves you money on your phone bill as when your call overflows to abroad, you have repeat everything you say as they can't understand and they have to repeat everything they say as I can't understand! Our dream has come true...0 -
Thank you everybody who has sprung to my defence! x
My comment was nothing to do with race, just a commentary on a particularly prominent issue in the consumer banking industry at the moment.
asea ... get a life!
jmarko ... see, I make a perfectly innocent comment, and someone goes off on one at me!!!Gone ... or have I?0 -
Of course it is nothing to do with race, it to do with with customer service, communication and our phone bills!!!

Lol may sound funny but Im Scottish and worked in a call centre, and got a lot of English people(Welsh and Irish were fine) keep asking me to repeat myself as they couldnt understand my accent, when I cant understand a lot of English ones(me and my friends laugh and say why cant they subtitle Eastenders lol) as they had to subtitle a Scottish soap a few years back, I got loads of funny Racist comments, not to my face, but people especially old people not realising phone isnt down, and saying "stupid Scottish person, stupid accent, etc lol0

I know what you mean, I used to work with a Scouser and a Geordie. I love their accents (before anyone attacks me again!), but the amount of callers that would ask to speak to someone ask because they couldn't understand them! xGone ... or have I?0
