No Buying Unnecessary Toiletries in December

Just wondering, my small amount takes up a drawer, where on earth do some of you store all your products? I think you must have a whole room devoted to them!
Ikea drawer unit, four drawer bathroom unit, bed side table, an epic shelf/window ledge in the bathroom, all now condensed to four/five boxes that previously were paper delivery boxes. It's a little embarrassing actually, because everyone's going to see all those boxes labelled up in my name when we move...compared with my partner's one small box of stuff...0 -

No I don't although I do tend to rotate my shower gels so that I'm using a fruity, floral or sweet smelling one (ie coconutty or shea one). Shower gels are my achilles heel and there's just no point in my saving any as the gel stash is too big.kiplingmonkey wrote: »Stay strong VALM or is it already too late? I am not doing it and have put £5 in my new SPC instead. What's that squeaking? Oh, just the sound of me polishing my halo - LOL!
It is too late I'm afraid. MrM encouraged me to buy 4 so that I have a year's stock of PCMC and because of the EP this works out well for me. I use the exfoliator as well and like the cleanser (though do prefer the Lime Blossom one). MrM will use the Quiet Mind and I like the body cream so this kit really is a winner for me/us. To be fair though he does usually get me multiples of the Elemis Xmas TSV for this reason.mickey_mouse wrote: »Hi I am Steph and am a bath and body product addict .I am new to this thread but would love to join in the challenge. I won't list makeup and nail stuff as I don't use much of that but I need help with the other products lol

Up and ready to set off for Cheshire Oaks in about an hour - can't promise not to come back with a few sneaky IN! I didn't have any unnecessary ones last month so won't be too naughty if I do, we'll see!0

ooh I love Cheshire Oaks. I reckon the last time we were there was Easter time. We used to go there for a Christmas shop as the Toy shop there was fabulous especially when she was into Barbie dolls. Will you be going on L'Occitane by chance?
Everybody wish my daughter Emma best of luck today as she is grading for her Freestyle Ju Jitsu Black Belt Second Dan. She is feeling really confident about this one so am hoping she gets a really great pass mark. 3 hours long though.
Have an IN and a UU to declare already. L'oreal Preference hair colour in Deep Red. Wanted something brighter and that's what I've got. xBack for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. Lol Valm at me being a celebrity. Yes QVC addict here - at the moment watching the Elemis TSV . Already fallen off the wagon as just ordered the TSV - my justification is that I am nearly out of moisturiser and I adore the smell of the quiet oil . Will add the INs to my list . I think I need a 12 step programme :rotfl:
Good luck to Emma - she will do great£2 savers club 2025 #40 -

Not that I'm encouraging anything but the Xmas TSV is such good value when it's full of full sizes. Just think how :money: you're being and tell yourself you won't buy anymore until next Xmas xxBack for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. Off to Gunwharf with another shopaholic friend - don't think we will get out without buying anything£2 savers club 2025 #40 -
Welcome Mickeymouse - you have some lovely products to use.
Valm - good luck to Emma.
My DD is 9 tomorrow and last night she had two friends round for a sleepover, one of them was a complete pain, first she spilt a full beaker of pepsi onto the television, then bright pink nail polish all over DD's bedroom carpet (she denied this but we know what happened) then started crying at 10pm and at 11pm I had to phone her mum to come and get her. DD and her other friend are having a good old gossip this morning over breakfast.
My LIB advent calendar arrived yesterday afternoon (just in time), I am so glad I got it, it is so lovely and great value at half price.
I needed to replace my hairdryer after the hair frazzling incident and ordered one from Debenhams, they are doing £10 in points on a £50 spend so I topped up with a mac paintpot in Painterly and a Mac eyeshadow in sable. With the 10% off and points it seemed justifiable.Debt Free and now a saver, conscious consumer, low waste lifestyler

Thanks for the answers - I've probably got enough 'stuff' to last a year but there's no doubt about it, I'm just a novice!0 -
Sending positive thoughts to Emma, Val. Black belt... that's an awful lot of hard work and dedication. Well done to her. Also from you as a parent in supporting her.
Had a narrow escape on the shampoo /conditioner front. It's now down to approx 200ml in both of L'Oreal Elvive, approx 100 ml of Avon Naturals 2 in 1 shampoo/conditioner plus a Lush Seanik solid shampoo bar that has been used roughly once a week for a year and is still two thirds the original size. (I have shortish, very fine hair.)
Anyway, I did an online survey for a shampoo /conditioner trial but wasn't eligible. Fine hair not required for that one. Half of me is slightly disappointed, the other half is relieved!Erma Bombeck, American writer: "If I had my life to live over again... I would have burned the pink candle, sculptured like a rose, that melted in storage." Don't keep things 'for best' - that day never comes. Use them and enjoy them now.0
