:rotfl:I was brave enough to go back when I saw something I wanted to buy online in the sales though.

Good luck with your shoe shopping, can't imagine my DH shoe shopping, he wears DM's and always buys the same colour :) it does make it very easy though!

Congrats on the 5p, I have been looking out for change but no luck so far... although one of my friends dropped 2p on the floor the other day and said "that can stay there" but I couldn't quite bring myself to say I'll have that then - should have shouldn't I?

Paddles that is funny!! The worse thing was when we lived in an old terraced house and slugs used to come out at night and have a get together on the kitchen floor!! Lost count of how many times I trod on one of those in the middle of the night!! _pale_  :rotfl:

I found 1p in the car today which I potted, after I washed it!! ;) Also saw a penny vanish into the bin when I emptied the vacuum cleaner, DH obviously vac'd it up!! Did try to find it but gave up!!

    Happy Boxing Day!
Saving for Disney again, oops why book one Disney holiday when you can book two!

    Hello Potters :D...

Hope you've all had a good Boxing Day :j...I'm putting another one of my 'pocket' 20p's in the pot (it's better in the pot than wasted tomorrow :A). I wonder if Sue will give me extra points for that . Or, one of those stars I keeping hearing about :D.
Off now, to use the Christmas Day leftovers (again), I'm hoping it's tastetastic :rotfl::D:rotfl:.

    Happy Potting everyone .

Hope everyone had a great Christmas. I ended up putting a LOT of change in my pot, too much to count! Here's hoping it continues to be that way for the rest of the year.

  • Merry Christmas everyone and hope you're all having a good Boxing Day!

I got given a terramundi pot for Christmas woop! I'm going to use that for all my £1 and £2 coins, and my Tardis moneybox () for coppers and silver :D I've been trying to put something in every day, or emptying my purse into it at the end of the week in any case. I'm having to get over the fear of not having any change or cash in my purse
    Savings target: £25000/£25000

:eek: I think I would have picked it up, offered it to the friend and kept it if it was refused :eek:

Well we came back from shopping empty handed  He had to have slip ons but couldn't find anything to fit: too big, too tight, too this or that  It was no surprise really but as I can only get him out shopping in the few days after Christmas he'll remain scruffy for some time yet  On the plus side no money was spent apart from on a half price Christmas cake and OH paid for that :p.

Have a lovely evening everyonex x
