Of course you can join us, Untouchable and pinpins. A very warm welcome to you.
Have fun saving and enjoy the banter. You'll find your numbers at the bottom of the list on post 5 of page 1. Please read through post 1 as it'll let you know exactly what to do with the challenge.
Please also subscribe to the thread by clicking on "Thread Tools" (lower green bar) and clicking "Subscribe to this thread"...or you may lose us! To put your SPC No on, go to "Quick Links" (right side of top green bar), click and then click on "Edit Signature" and you're away.
*Please pop your numbers on your sigs, it really helps.Untouchable wrote:Hello everybody! I'm new. Not sure if I am really allowed to join!
I'm in Australia and have three money pots (all for the same purpose though) that I'm using to save for a Taylor Swift concert in December (the only debts I have right now are my student HECS fees) as its also a sort of holiday for myself!
So my three pots, one is for notes which I take out of my bank account to add in (I don't think that pot is allowed to be counted) then my other two are for coins that I have at the end of each day (or that I raid from my boyfriend or around the house) one for 5c and 10c coins and the other for my 20c, 50c, $1 and $2 coins!
Untouchable, of course you're allowed to join! BTW, you're most welcome to save the cash from all 3 pots, no problem at all......just remember they're as your name suggests.......!
Well done, pozza_73, you're really doing well.
Sorry, Sophie.Christie, but your SPC No needs to go on your siggy please, if not, it's the naughty bench for you!
Bad luck with your FFreezer, jakes-mum. Got a 2 year old small(ish) chest freezer here we'd gladly give away to get the space in the spare room.FionaWeasley_ wrote:Well I came in under budget on my pocket money this week so I've popped the £1.50 I had left in my pot. First time in ages I've managed to stick to my pocket money budget, this site is definitely helping me stay focused!
Excellent work and budgeting, Fiona, stay with what you've done as it must be right!!
Come on, just trying, you can do better than how you've been doing lately. Keep that target in mind.sparky0107 wrote:Morning everyone. Once again apologies for my tardiness, had a lot going on lately, so I will not be around much. I know I've missed lots of stuff going on in peoples lives, once again I apologise.
Don't apologise, sparky, truth is, we can't always be here everyday. All the best to you both. You're still saving which is good!
If you're not better now, Rosy, then get well soon!
Good for you on the Lottery win, Tia!! :j Let's hope your thoughts are right about the sum amassed - so far!luckycharlie wrote:Welcome to the thread the best one on here I'm sure you have read the first post if not read it now then you know everything!!! You little fibber you, LC 2!!Maybe I ought to draw up an SPC oath for the future....to be found on the 1st page! BTW, I hope you had a lovely time in Nottingham, your DH certainly did, bless him. Ahh, your poor young GS, that'll slow him down a bit.
Our eldest DGS (17) was supposed to go to Barcelona with his College yesterday. He was so excited, especially as part of the time was to go to Moto GT. The plane was due to leave at 10.30 am, all the lads were so excited......but 5 mins before leaving....it flashed up as cancelled - all due to the French air-traffic controllers going on strike!!! They tried to get them to London, but too many lads (20) would have meant too many planes all going at different times. He got home at 6 PM really gutted.Have a lovely evening, everyone, and a good day tomorrow.
Anyone wishing to join, please just ask, you're more than welcome, it's never too late.There may be a lot of us, but don't feel intimidated, we're a lovely lot, so come on in.:grinheartPlease read the 1st post on Page 1 first so you know what's what.Sealed Pot Challenge 001 My Totals = 08 = £163.95 09 = £315.78 10 = £518.80 11 = £481.87 12 = £694.53 13 = £1200.20! 14 = £881 15 = £839.21 16 = £870.48 17 = £871.52 18 = £800.00 19 = £851.022021=£820.26[/SizeGrand Totals of all members (2008 uncounted) 2009 = £32.154.32! 2010 = £37.581.47! 2011 = £42.474.34! 2012 = £49.759.46! 2013 = £50.642.78! 2014 = £61.367.88!! 2015 = £52.852.06! 2016 = £52, 002.40!! 2017 = £50,456.23!! 2018 = £47, 815.88! 2019 = £38.538.37!!!! :j0 -

Excellent, as I put a 10er in the one for notes the other day! Thank you for the welcome! I'm so excited, my major coin one is pretty heavy already and I am thinking i might fill it before december at this rate! My 5c and 10c one is still light but it has quite a number in there already!
Put 10 cents in today after making the kids go on a house wide money hunt... turns out all but one coin already reside in my tins :rotfl:
edit: just did the grocery shopping! under budget of $150 by 13 dollars excluding delivery costs! (so really its only 3 dollars saved)Sealed Pot Challenger #2080 2013
