Hi all, I did this challenge last year and the money really helped at Christmas. As DH's job is seasonal (Mar-Nov) it's a perfect time to start this now so would love to join in again.

    My starting total is £1.24

Just a quick question (which I probably asked last year too :D)..I save £2 as part of another challenge...can I include these in my SP totals as they do go into the same tin. Or is that just a personal choice?

Thanks and have a lovely weekend everyone.
    Barclaycard: £4,217.55/£5 = 0.11% | Tesco £3,810.55/£3,770.55 = 1.05%
    Total: £8,027.80/£5 = 100%/0.06%
    Mortgage £99,692/£51,652.33 51.8%
    Car Loan: £9,217.20/7,527.38 81.67%

Very well done, haybel, a lovely sum already. :D

    I've just banked £75!
    Chuffed with that :j

Beilliant Rosy, so chuffed for you and plenty of time to go for a lot more yet.

dinglefoot, I hope having the pub lunch with my Mum and my Nan which your Mum paid for also rekindled a few loving memories of your DG Aunt. :)

WOW! Just got a major bargain in Mr T's.... My son somehow managed to shut the zip of his school coat in the door of the car and broke it, so popped to Mr T's as they got 50% off clothes at the mo. Anyhow found an 'acceptable' coat in the sale, half price at £6....but went through the till at £1!!!:j:j:j

Have potted the £11 I saved and a bit of other change I had so potted about £15, my best days tally so far :D

That HAS to be about the best bargain you'll ever get surely, beccah!! :T A marvellous day!

Haven't had a very successful period of potting over the last few weeks - I'm trying to do as much spending as possible on my credit card to get cashback (paying in full at the end of the month of course)but doesn't leave much change to pot :o

I've potted about 20p today and put £3 or so in holding piggy - slow and steady I suppose :D

As far as saving goes, MissE, you're still doing very well indeed with the cashback and bits of cash too.

Sorry to hear you've been so poorly, 50thfun, I hope you're soon ok - and that you find your pot!
Well ladies and gents I've had a lucky streak today. Paid £1 for a raffle ticket strip and ended up winning a 32" LED TV and then won £78 at bingo. Gave £20 to my mum and potted the rest pot total is now a healthy £71 :D

Many congratulations on a fantastic run of luck, Bambisbelle, bey you sleep with a smile on your face! :D

Lovely to see you, mumof3plusoh, good to hear that at least you have sun too.

All those small bits add up, slowlyfading, promise, and much better saved than spent. :)

To answer your question, moneymanager, yes, that ok to include them.

You're welcome, little_sweetie, BTW, that £1 helps make up for that time you were overcharged! :j

It's coming on good, Mel, well done you!

Have wonderful Sunday, everyone, keep safe, healthy and saving.
