T-mobiles Hidden Costs
Options
I had been offered a phone and contract for:
£21 - 300 min, 500 Texts and 250MB data
I was also charged £5.40 for the Sim which I wasnot told was going to charge me. The phone was sent with the original seal broken and a replacement seal added. I then contacted T-Mobile about this and asked for a returns packaging and was not told I had to pay for the phone to be returned until today from a text message.

Depending on the phone that contract is only £15.50 on tmobile so not sure its a deal?!?!
Its not unusual for the seal to be broken if the new sim card is needed and in the packaging as tmobile will put a new seal in place. fairly standard for them to charge for a new sim card but they should have said this was going to occur. As for the return packing then they have reimbursed me this back in the past but it takes ages for their returns department to register they have the phone back and you may need to chase this up!!!
I can share your frustration as I think Tmobile are probably the most frustrating company I have ever had to deal with!0 -
The phone was a Motorola razr i and when I contacted them I asked what my contract was and they told me that it was a better contract than expected.
They said I was offered:
£21 - 300 min, 500 texts and 750 data
or
£21 - 600 min, 500 texts and 250 data
instead of the one I was offered which was the one I mentioned on the previous post.
So now makes me think is it just worth keeping the phone as it seems to be as good as new even though the seal was broken. Thought that the seals was open to put T-Mobiles rubish on the phone but nothing was found. So now think it might have been a phone that was returned.0
