Orange Voicemail Double Charge

Hello, I wanted to avoid the 35p per minute cost of retrieving voicemail from my (albeit cheap) SIM only contract with Orange so I am using a different PAYG to call their voicemail number (or a landline via 18185). This is much cheaper e.g. TESCO PAYG mobile is 12p per minute. HOWEVER I now find that Orange are charging me 35p a minute which ever method I use to call their voicemail service i.e. my cunning plan doesn't work. I am paying the call costs PLUS Orange's 35p a minute to retrieve voicemail. Is this only me or has this been raised by anyone before?
