Compared to lots of places in the world, yes

Even the best Strip hotels will have rooms starting from around $100 a night with a bit of searching and very good hotels will have rooms for around the $60 a night mark

Booked at the Riviera. Checked the reviews and I'm not expecting it to be like the Ritz, but its just somewhere to sleep and shower.

Yes they emailed me when I originally booked to confirm at the original price. Will email them to see if they will lower the price - nothing to lose, right?

have you checked any other sites or the hotels own website, or called the riviera to check prices

Which dates are you going as the rates vary widely in Vegas?

I checked a week in April and the rates started at $40 / night plus tax and resort fee.
