Best month so far this year..... £1,325 to report for April. (I will go and update the front sheet).
My OH helped this month by making me take the train rather than driving to work. I get some exercise walking to and from and the station, plus it saves me £16.20 per week :T
I've been pretty good for bringing my lunch in too .... Peppery smoked mackerel salad todayI've got a plan so cunning you could put a tail on it and call it a weasel.0 -
Payday woo
As I said before, my current account is also my savings account, so it's difficult to pinpoint exactly what I've saved.
I'm on holiday later today so will probably spend a bit more than usual this month. I'll declare £600 for April taking me £2,050
Will adjust if I don't spend much on holiday! What will your verse be?

Thanks, my target is £24k. I am really pleased with how I am doing this year. I used my savings last year to pay off my mortgage so was starting from zero again but with fewer monthly outgoings. Thanks to this website and forum I have paid off all my debts over the past few years and am now saving. Best of luck to you YB.0 -
Some great totals on here - well done!
I'm putting £ 300 for april, should be more as I've been paid for my extra hours (thankfully, as I'm completely fed up with work!). Completely in a muddle with how much I need to keep aside for mammoth cc bill so will keep the rest in current account until the middle of may.0 -
Scraping together all of my bits and pieces of savings I have managed to get £800 together. I want to save £200 in the next few weeks to take it up to £1000 and then hopefully from there I can get to my £3000 target.
Everyone is doing so well. We can do it!Married in 2016. Bought our first home in 2017. Expecting our first baby in November 2017

Hi everyone, due to paying off the car and just discovering I'm pregnant :j - savings target has gone down to £5000 for the year and I'm currently at £0  Congrats to everyone on your saving, whether you're on target or slightly behind - it's all money saved :j0
