You also now have to pay a card fee for adding extras ie. bags after you made a booking- this never used to be the case. So a £15 bag fee now becomes £15.300

The card companies used to contractually prohibit merchants from charging more for payment by credit card than for other forms of payment. Such prohibitions were outlawed by the Thatcher government with the Credit Cards (Price Discrimination) Order 1990. Soon Article 19 of Directive 2011/83/EU on Consumer Rights will prevent merchants "from charging consumers, in respect of the use of a given means of payment, fees that exceed the cost borne by the trader for the use of such means". Therefore Ryanair will not be able to charge 2% if it pays less than 2% itself to process credit card transactions.0
