Hi,
Very honored that my site has been linked in this thread but not so good that the fix doesn't work.
Can you do the following and cut and paste the results to the forum. (I'm assuming you have windows 2000 or XP)
1. from the start menu choose the 'Run As...' option
2. in the pop-up box enter:
CMD
3. Click OK
4. In the black box type:
ipconfig /all
5. Press enter.
6. Cut and paste the results to this forum.

You cant cut and paste from a DOS window. But you can write the information to a file:
This time in the black DOS box type:
ipconfig /all > c:\ipconfig.txt
with spaces on each side of the > symbol.
This will write the info to a file in the c: directory. Or write it to another directory if you prefer. Anywhere that you are able to navigate to it. Then navigate to the directory with the file and open it with Notepad (e.g. right click on it and open with NotePad). Then you can copy and paste it here. HTH0 -

Glad it's working, you probably didn't have to pay out the £, the idea was to find the culprit, and then fix it manually with free tools. Other than tracking cookies, what did it find then?Ever get the feeling you are wasting your time? :rolleyes:0

You can copy & paste from a DOS window but first you have to click on the little blue box (top/left corner) select 'edit' then 'mark' and then you can use the mouse to highlight any text you want to copy. Use either ctrl+c or click the box again then 'edit' then 'copy' and paste to wherever you wish“You can please some of the people some of the time, all of the people some of the time, some of the people all of the time, but you can never please all of the people all of the time.”0 -

Didn't know that. Thanks.0 -
Sorry I should have explained how to cut and paste from a DOS box.
You can also simply right click inside the box to get the edit menu.
Karen1980 as albertross said it would be excellent to know what the software found and removed to get it working.
