    You'll also need to remove the items from your registry. I've not used Hijack This before(may someone can advise), but you need to remove those items from your registry and then reboot your computer. Once they've been removed, you should then go through the instructions in the link supplied in post #9.

    Those are the items in your registry that have hijacked your browser.

    You can try a system restore, as it doesn't look like a virus.

    Edit: link in post #9 was from a google search. Bizarre coincidence I happened to know the site owner. Ironically it was the same person who introduced me to mse in the first place.
