google uk option has disappeared

One thing I would add to the above is that you could do an advanced search (using the UK option) for the letter A for example and then bookmark the results page itself (i.e. bookmark the results of A). Bookmark with a title like: Google UK. Then in the future you just click on the Google UK bookmark, change the search of A to whatever you are now searching for and then press enter to begin that search. Reuse the UK, search for A, results page in other words.

Got lost a bit in this thread. I live in Italy and use Firefox. When it was first setup it would always give me the Italian google site, so in firefox under tools/options/general, I just changed the homepage to the google uk site Now I can use the general web or the UK site. Sure it must work in other browsers the same.As Manuel says in Fawlty Towers: " I Know Nothing"0
