Where has all the baking parchement gone?

Options
I may simply be looking in the wrong places, but I seem to be unable to find baking parchment in my regular supermarkets, ie Asda, Morrisons, Aldi, Home Bargains. Is anyone else having problems or is it just me?
Thanks,
Alison

    Hello AlisonW

I'll move your thread to the 'Old Style' board, where the baking experts will see it.;)

  • Lakeland Plastics sell Baking Parchment on a big roll, it lasts for ages, so I'm afraid I can't give any idea of the price as I got mine some time ago.

Aldi only seems to stock it 'now and again' - at the moment my local branch has some, but, I fully expect it to disappear again at any time!
Tesco normally sell it - perhaps they are just out of stock?

New product in Tesco's and under their own name(selling at £1.75 at present)Parchment lined foil. 7.5m length 30cm wide. It says bake or roast using baking paper side to prevent food sticking whilst cooking. The aluminium side promotes even cooking, retains heat, mosture and helps prevent burning.
