I'd like to thank the OP for starting such a hilarious thread, however the last thing I want to do is click the thanks button & increase their sense of self-importance or add to their obviously already over inflated ego, besides I'm thanking them for completely the wrong reason : the original post was not at all helpful to me, it's just the follow up which has given me a good laugh!

So I'll just say thanks here, Mrs Y you're worth your obxnoxiousness in entertainment value, you make a fab stooge to everyone elses funny men!:rotfl:

So i tell you a way to get £70 for doing practically nothing, and I don't even get a thanks!

What a rude place this is turning out to be now. I remember a time when people said thanks to other people for posting freebies, I won't bloomin bother in future.

As members of MSE, we have choices. Amongst other things, we choose whether to reply to posts or not, or whether to thank or not - our choices, no-one else's.

People have done nothing wrong by choosing to not thank you (for whatever reason) and assumptions about them should not be made because of this. 56/57 views may sound a lot, but for a site this size it isn't.

Expectations of impending gratitude are not always realized.

    Why reply then CrashDive?!

I must admit maybe i have been a little harsh and a little bit too expectant of people to say thank you for things, so for that i'm sorry.

I'm glad this thread has given most of you a laugh at my expense. Please can this be deleted now, or do you all want to carry on laughing at me? if you do, then please feel free. This is the freebies board after all, so i suppose that free laughs are allowed, aren't they?!

I only laughed when a link was posted to this thread. In my defense though I wasn't laughing at you, I don't know you. I was laughing at yet another plea for thanks.

Anyhoo - it seems that your post was helpful to a fair few people, so I hope the mods aren't to hasty to delete it
  • According to Mrs Y. you have to pay £30 and then after numerous hoop jumping you end up with £70 a few months later.

Sorry Mrs Y - its a nonsense for most people....

    No thanks.
