Can I watch BBC I Player on a Kindle Fire ?

Does anyone know if I can watch BBC and ITV on a Kindle Fire and if so how do I do it, I keep getting a message saying There are no Andriod phones associated with this account error. Thanks, I am not very technie.

Have you downloaded the BBC iplayer app from play store. As for ITV player which you have to register to use, there app is not very good, very slow and stops all the time.

There is an app called TVCatchup which you can view bbc & itv on, but only as the programes are being broadcast.

Do you have access to the play store with a Kindle Fire? I thought you had to use Amazon's app store.

Isnt the fire the first Kindle device that you can use apps other than Amazons own? I think you can use play with the fire - bu not 100%

Thanks. I have got BBC I Player working fine, using app, but cant get ITV to work.

Buy the way when I charge it using the USB does the Kindle and computer need to be on. Had the Kindle with the red light on and the computer off but still plugged in and after 12 hours only have 32% charge ?

I would have thought the computer would need to be on and plugged into the mains, othewise the Fire is being charged from your computers battery.

Just my thoughts mind you.

I'd get a dedicated charger for it. Cheap as chips on the interweb unless you want the expensive Amazon one.

Got a sky box? You'll find a USB port on that.. it'll charge your kindle

But you're best buying a separate USB power adapter. Often mobile phones come with one
