First Let me offer my sincere condolences. I am dreading the day when i will have to say Goodbye to Mr hop.
It doesn't sound like poison as it it too quick, so could be a congenital problem. Maybe ring the vet tomorrow and ask. Sorry again for your loss."if the state cannot find within itself a place for those who peacefully refuse to worship at its temples, then it’s the state that’s become extreme".Revd Dr Giles Fraser on Radio 4 20170 -
How awful for you robpw. It does sound to me like she got something from the mouse. My dog once caught a rat and was horribly sick for a good while and the vet said there was a chance the rat had been poisoned and the dog took some poison himself from the rat's blood.
Poison is very fast acting.
