lisyloo - Thanks for the idea. I'll be amongst those exploring the Ruffler website...0

Thanks for all the replies. The Abbey one does seem to be the best best but unfortunately I only have £8,000 to transfer so I wouldn't qualify for the 5.75% rate and I don't want to open a new one with Abbey for this year as I want to take advantage of the Barclays Tax beater one instead.
I think I'll wait till the May rate rise and see how things pan out after that.0 -

I was looking at the Barclays Tax Beater but have you seen the thread of unhappy people who have tried opening one etc.
Just a word of warning.0 -
Hi,
I have just tried ringing Abbey and the line cuts off after I select ISA's (option 2).
I wasn't expecting to setup the account today just ask a few questions about the transfer process.

Has anyone done a transfers of previous years over the phone (or via Internet)? How does the YBS or Kent Reliance work?
I am looking for a replacement for the A&L Direct ISA 2 (which will end being at the competive 5.70% at the end of April) for all my ISA money and appreciate your comments above.0 -
When you open the account you fill in a transfer form and they do the rest (unless its A&L who wont do anything with the Abbey form because you have to speak to them directly for some reason).Hi,
