Which is the cheapest directory enquiries to call from my mobile? I am with T mobile? I currently use 118 247 but five calls to them on last bill cost me £4.25 plus VAT.

You could use BT Phonebook for the cost of downloading some data: wap.thephonebook.com

I have never used WAP on my mobile - wouldn't know where to start but thanks anyway.

Any replies re cheapest number?

You were charged correctly for that service. T-Mobile charge £1 per minute for calls to 118247.

If you are blind or disabled you can get these calls free on 195 from a T-Mobile phone.

Otherwise it would be cheaper to use 118500 (65p/minute including VAT) from a T-Mobile phone.
