In System, system type, has it got 64-bit there?

Tend to agree ... don't think I'd even attempt to install that patch with my limited technical knowledge!
Now thinking of buying a "cheap" all-in-one printer, so I can chuck my old printer and scanner. Wondering about the HP Deskjet 2510 :-

I'm a little nervous about whether it will connect up to my XP desktop and also my Windows 7 laptop after my previous experience above, but am guessing that any "modern" printer would be OK.
I'd be grateful for your thoughts guys ...Wins since 2009 = £17,600MANY THANKS TO ALL OPS0 -
after all these posts, I'm still none the wiser as to what lead you are plugging it in with, and what type of connection it has.
If you buy a new one, just check it has xp drivers available!!

They may be simple to you closed but, to me, they're just meaningless gobbledegook
