Awwww, my mum popped in earlier, bought a wee xmas stocking for kit, and 3 packs of casserole steak that she'd picked up from work - so that, along with the deconstructed turkey (incl 2 portions of marinading kebab using The Takeaway Secret recepie for OH) means our freezer is stuffed to bursting again.
Am going to make a concerted effort now to meal plan and make the best of what we have. Should mean only needing to buy a few jars and fruit / veg as needed. New Year new challenge!
I'm with you on that one I got loads of meat reduced on Christmas eve, and my freezer & cupboards are fully stocked so I'm going to make the effort to eat what we have in before buying more.A waist is a terrible thing to mind.0 -
Just realised I've beaten my target of 15
so I'm going to see if I can't make 18 NSDs before the year is through.

Rising, sorry to hear about your crumpets, that's disappointing, I'd complain, just keep the packet with the tear in it and take back when you next go shopping.
