We had the dustmen AND recycling lorries round yesterday morning  Suppose with a five-day week anyway losing two days out of it makes things a bit tight, but I'm pretty certain it's the first year they've done it...
We'd had notification, I'd put it 'safe', then muvva decides it's rubbish & throws it in the recycling--all before I'd had a chance to read it properly

It's scary windy this morning &not of the sprout variety either cuz they were vile this time; guess the weather hasn't helped, but other than that crimbly lunch was fine. I conncocted a dessert of homemade pancakes filled with dried fruit that I'd soaked in black tea overnight, then warmed thru before serving. We had four types of cream to choose from & two of them had booze in, or I would have done the fruit in port or something...completely made it up but yumyum pig's arris :D a definite winner!
hanging-boxing-gloves-smiley-emoticon.gif Day was scrummy cold meat & pickles, with probably my best-yet acned ricky for us & jam rolypoly for Pooch :T so I'm very pleased to announce 19 & 20 were my crimbly prezzies to myself & I have reached target party-dude-smiley-emoticon.gif
Let me think ...Thursday isn't it...will have to get spuds & bread & stuff tomorrow....oh go on. Put me down for another 4 please

Hope you're faring better than MrPartyman downstairs from muvva; one can confirm he's well & truly lost his party spirits this morning _pale_ (I do wish they would sound-proof the bathroom at the very least) He'll get no sympathy from me, especially if he was the twassock who was shouting the odds over some idiotic footballer at 2 this morning  I am not a party pooper but when said neighbours tend to 'celebrate' on a fairly regular basis,
make loathsome drunks, & leave poor doggies to whine day &/or night as it suits them, it's a totally different story. When she's sober she can be quite pleasant but to be fair, he's the sort you avoid in bright sunlight let alone a dark alley :rotfl:

Hope you've all had a lovely Christmas.

Just popping in quickly to declare NSDs 19 and 20 and my second target met, yay:j:j:j

Please could I increase my target to 25 freeby. I don't intend to spend anything more for the rest of the month to make up for my appalling start:o:o and the dreaded tax bill to be paid in January:(:(

Off to work now but I'll catch up with everyone later today.

Hope you all have a good day x
