Merry Christmas to one and all (says Nargleblast, tossing NSD number 12 into the Cauldron of Doom) and if I don't get on here before then, a Happy New Year full of bright, shiny NSDs!

At work tomorrow and Friday, going to see DD Saturday then away for New Year. However, you will be pleased to know Igor has a vat of his infamous red hot turkey curry on the go, (minus beak this time, I think he is slowly getting the idea about cooking) ready for you all when you drop by to see the New Year in at Ennessdee Towers. He has made an excellent chutney using bits of the leftover satsuma and mistletoe jam we had on our Christmas morning pancakes, there is this years excellent brussels sprout punch (with real sprouts floating in it) and turnip whisky to toast in 2013, and Hubert has promised faithfully to ebay his stiletto heels collection and give the proceeds towards the grand raffle prize, which will be drawn just after midnight.

As always, the front door of Ennessdee Towers will be open from sundown New Years Eve, so come along when you wish. Any contributions to the raffle prizes will be welcome - we already have Spoon's promise of a romantic trip for two in the Tardis, and Big Mumma has shabby-chiced her second best deckchair, and it looks lovely, just the thing for lounging in as you watch the telly in your brand new Christmas PJs! (Funny place to have a telly....)

Afternoon all. Well despite the lure of online sales yesterday even I didn't fancy shopping so Santa delivered me NSD #11 down the chimney :D

Wasn't one today as I popped into Sada to check out the reduced bits, got some lamb chops, a lamb shoulder and also a turkey  well it was £22 reduced to £4.30 so gonna cook that tomorrow. We haven't got much left from dinner yesterday so it's not too bad.

Speaking of turkey Nargle, Igor might have left out the beak from this year's curry but did you tell him to pluck the bird first?

Good day yesterday but it is kinda nice that it's done with for another year IYMWIM?

Oh, but I got a lovely surprise phone call on Xmas Eve from my friend in Oz - was totally unexpected and lovely to hear her voice - even if I did have to listen to how it had been 30 degrees that day before. :p:cool: lol
