App to tell you when phone signal has been lost?

hi,

i just to use no signal alert, which worked great on my old phone ( would tell me when my phone had lost / then regained signal, coverage in my area is bad so its a very useful and free app)

on my new phone samsung galaxy s3 the app does not work correctly even though it it set up right.

is there any other good free app that will do the same. thank you

am i missing something or can't you just look at the signal strength indicator

the problem is , if my phone is sat on standby for a couple of hours, ( i dont want to be checking the signal every 10 mins) and has lost signal people may be try to get hold of me but they carnt as i have no signal, and i may not beaware.

As when it tells me there is no signal i can move the phone around till it does.

signal in my area is very bad, its a black spot, there is no coverage at all from three, orange, tmobile, o2 and voda still v bad but i get some .

Maybe its worth looking to sit it in a device that boosts signal, something as simple as making a box covered in tin foil can actually improve the signal greatly! (As silly as it sounds!)

If your phone is an android with a notification led light, then using "lightflow" you can set the led to come on/flash and notify you if there is no signal.

Not tried it but possibly another one, generates a notification when signal is lost.
