Item never arrived. Seller blames me!

I bought an item 3 weeks ago....a camera lens. It never turned up, I did contact the seller after a week to progress it, in case he'd been delayed sending it out etc. His response was that he'd sent 2nd class post the day after I paid for it, which was within an hour of the auction ending. I asked him for tracking details…

open a case with ebay, if he can't provide a tracking number they will find in your favour - job done. what a numpty
