You do have to put in the hours to earn that much. I set myself daily targets to make myself sit down and earn as sometimes I dont feel like it but I am glad of the money on pay day.

Yeah Bobbadog, I applied in October and failed then applied again in December and passed and started working in Jan. Must admit I was addicted to start with, but quickly burned out so I think around £400 is probably comfortable for me. Still hard work though! Dreading going on holiday and not being able to earn, wonder if I they have the internet in the villa!

Yet another AQA question, but I don't want to clutter the forum, so...

I passed a few months back, but unfortunately I lost my Windows computer and had to drop off AQA's payroll. If anyone's been through this before, is it relatively easy to get back on the system?

I just wanted to add to this and say that you need a strong internet connection or the software can be very slow. I didn't realise quite how often my broadband connection jumps in and out, fine for surfing (and finding out answers) but annoying for staying connected to AQA or having it work at a reasonable pace. As a result I've only been earning about £60 a month due to the frustration of the slowness, I sometimes do about three questions in twenty minutes, then get annoyed and give up. Other times I'm cooking with gas and firing through them. I've heard that changing broadband supplier needs you to obtain a release code from your provider and then you don't have any internet for two weeks, which would drive me up the wall. Slightly off topic, but any advice from someone a bit more savvy about IT than me?

I had to transfer supplier back in November; as I had it explained to me, you get a Migration Authorisation Code from your old supplier, give it to the new one, and the transfer is near-seamless. You might be offline for a day, two max.

Of course, I was moving the line to a new house as well as a new supplier, so I was offline for a month. That was maddening.

Can I ask something too? Do AQA handle your tax and NI for you, or are you classed as self-employed? How does it work if it is a second job?

I would email them for advice.

I would be interested to know the answer to this. We got a wireless router but the software just hangs when using the router. Other people who work for AQA use a wireless connection so I don't know why ours didn't work.
