Help with Problem Landlord

It might help if the OP were to reply to this question
It seems the tenancy ends 20th April based on the OP's "We gave notice to leave on the 20th February, which is 2 months before the end of our tenancy."
The dates look pretty OK to me given the OP hasn't exchanged contracts yet. ""We are due to exchange before 1st January." and "the property is due to be completed in January, so pretty sure it should be done by March at the very latest."
OP can you try to get your completion date for late March, I suspect it's not too late for that. Then you will have a few weeks leeway to move. If the build is delayed then you can stay in your tenancy on a periodic tenancy. Do it all in writing by the book from now friends or not.0 -
Our landlords have accepted the offer we made to leave one month before the end of our tenancy. Thank you for your comments everyone.0
