I bought one recently - ideal for travel documents - the clip on strap is a tad heavy but do you need it on? If you are weight restricted

I have been using this for about 3-4 months now. it holds loads even my phone when I only want to take my purse
I don't use the strap as i find it gets in the way but handy if you use it without bag

Your comment about it holding your phone reminded me of the Alvis. I had one of these recently and was impressed it would hold my phone easily, and still closed neatly. Would make a really good little clutch.

Oooh, I'm really tempted by the tropic black - it looks like a good size bag for days when you want to carry just the bare essentials. I still haven't bought the wallet I wanted though...I knew it would be dangerous to start watching this thread again!
