I ordered 2 pasta pans from them a while ago. They did send one pasta pan and a wok, but were fine when I told them and refunded the money straight away as they didn't have another pasta pan. Deliveries take a while as they come from France. I found the customer service to be good and so ordered lots yesterday! Hopefully everything I ordered will arrive this time!:D

Thx thats a bit more. Comforting...theres shocking stuff on line about delays items not arriving wrong items arriving and impossible to get refunds...l sept will be a long time to wait to see

VP has really really bad reviews on line worse than brand alley and the others put together....has anyone ordered from them before? Am a bit worried now as i ordered 5 items and its quite a lot of cash at risk?

I have just read those, and wonder if they are US reviews? I read some French ones, which are more positive. Actually, I couldn't find any UK reviews! It could be that things take much longer to get to the US, are more liable to break and so on.

    Against Vente-Privee:
Length of time it takes to receive goods (although that's clear on the website)
No free returns (this is the same for Brand Alley)

    For:
Interesting stuff at a super price, and we can easily price-check things in this Country.

Overall, I will risk it. I did order something yesterday, but changed my mind (at about 12:40 this morning), and the cancellation procedure and confirmation were clear and easy to do. My account is showing the cancellation. No complaints from me.

Got my fairfax bag today but smaller than I thought it would be. Not sure if it's the medium or the small.

They seem to have some good prices on there at the moment, I wondered if they were trying to compete with the sale.

Yes looks like its only the autumn colours so the expensive ones - I think its coral is only £16 now anyway.

(Who was it that gave a tip about a bag the similar shape to Syro but another brand? Could you let me know again please)

I think it might have been me. I asked about a bag on the china site and crystal9 said it looked like a Syro. That thread seems to have been deleted so I'd better not post another link :)
