I have the defea in Red Chevron and also a jasmyn in the same design which in fact I am using today. It's very summery, I love it!

Thanks Ruth and laughing, been using my Gabbie every day for well over a year and I love it but need a change from the grey! Chevron Red looks so vibrant! Would like a smaller bag though so will look out for the 6.00 pm deal!

Parcel arrived yesterday but I was going out to work so only just had time to open it now - and I'm going out to work again today so don't have time to take photos but will try to do that tomorrow.

Looks like I used the same seller as Tobykim. The bag is like a small Gabbie. Gorgeous print but actually I think I'm a bit disappointed with the bag. The zips don't move smoothly at all, the fabric does feel thinner than on a genuine one, and the zip pockets are smaller than I expected. Even the main opening at the top doesn't seem to open right across the top, so it makes access a bit restricted.

I've only had a quick look at it so I'll check it over more thoroughly tomorrow and will try to post some photos.

ah thats a shame your not so happy i didn't have a backpack to compare to. i have posted a link for what looks like a gabbie but it does look smaller than kiplings gabbie which would suit me as i'm not keen on big bags.

Decided to give it a go while my dinner is cooking!

Now I look at it again, I think I was a bit harsh first time! The print is gorgeous - in places on the photo it looks faded, but it isn't faded at all, that must just be a trick of the light.

The zips seem a bit better now as well. I think the main problem I will have is the smaller opening at the top, but that's not really a big deal. I do think the bag looks good, so I'm sure I'll be able to use it.

Mine does seem to have a phone slot inside, unlike Tobykims.

EDIT - I'll see if I can get a photo of it alongside a 'proper' Gabbie... just a sec...

That print is gorgeous and is one of the ones I was looking at getting and I think size would suit me as its smaller than the Gabbie. Looks same size as the priska.
