I also have (to my shame!) an Auriane in Black Dust which I'm trying to decide whether or not to keep. The Black Dust is a nice colour, has a sort of sheen to it. Very smart looking.
One thing I really like about it is the 3 large zip sections. A couple of things I'm not sure about though. The grab handles are a lot longer than the ones I'm used to on other Kiplings. Also, I haven't actually used it yet (as I'm still deciding), but when you hold the bag by the long strap, the body of the bag kind of falls on its side, doesn't stay upright. It just seems odd the way it swings over to its side. Might just be because its empty, I should probably try it with some stuff in before I judge - but I have the Zelta as well (another one with 3 large zip sections) and that stays upright when you hold it by the strap.
Would appreciate comments as I'm really in two minds about this. I paid £41 and wonder if I should send it back and see if the price comes down. I only bought it because I really wanted another one like the Zelta.
Also, I believe the straps are not real leather (I don't use leather). On the Kipling website it just states the bag is 100% Polyamide so I assume that includes the straps. Does anyone know about this for sure?
PS Sorry for such a long post
Mine should be coming tomorrow so will see if it's the same and let you know. I'm sure on the qvc video it says the straps are 'leather look' but am on iPad at mo so can't double check.
Is the Zelta a qvc special?0 -
I haven't see that - which bags is it on?
Not sure if its on every one but seems to be on most of the Kipling pages now :

Looks like it applies to the Auriane I've just bought. Wonder if it's worth going on live chat or just re-ordering??? Not even 100% sure I'm keeping the bag though.0 -

I would always recommend this one as a day-to-day bag, and I know I'm not the only one....

Sorry seen it now - I wasn't scrolling down far enough!0 -
Looks like quite a few of the bags have gone up from around £21 to around £24 (the likes of Reth and the Shopper, bags that were linked to on this thread a couple of days ago). Also the Yelina has gone up a bit. So the 10% off isn't really that much of a sale, it's still a few pennies more than it was a couple of days ago... but I suppose that's how shops work, isn't it? That's how they lure us in!!
Only the Auriane is STILL the same price I paid last week but now has the 10% discount as well :mad:0 -
I have a black heather Reth, used daily for work since end of 2012 and haven't noticed any peeling. It's absolutely crammed full and weighs a ton, lol.
 Perhaps mine is faulty? Don't want to send it back as I adore it... off to see if they still do a black heather Defea ..
