Thanks for the heads up - I was considering a brown heather.

But........ on the plus side it does make the bag more waterproof :)

Glad some of the prices have gone up now as I was wearing myself out with piles in my basket and wondering what to order!!

Very happy with my Port Syro from a week ago.

A Facebook page - 10 ways to have more money as a student, without working - just got a tip off about the Creativity X in green - price gone up now though. Bet they don't realise we've been having tip offs from each other for days/weeks!!

  • I keep putting items in my basket / wish list and then the price keeps going up or they go out of stock! Grrr.

But I guess I should be more decisive...

I'll have a look later on at home I think!

Has anyone got the Auriane? I've had this in my basket since yesterday - finger hovering over the buy button!

Don't know which colour to go for - black dust, brown dust, copper dust or the lovely pink dust. Does anyone have any bags in these colours?

So I've gone for the Auriane in Pink Dust and the Yelina wallet in black dust (which will look nice with my new Port Red KM Bagsational which is fab). Came to £51.40 for both which is such a bargain. Both coming tomorrow so fingers crossed I'll like them.

I have the Yelina in Pink Dust - which is gorgeous! Paid about £20 for it before Xmas. Haven't used it yet but I do love the colour.

I also have (to my shame!) an Auriane in Black Dust which I'm trying to decide whether or not to keep. The Black Dust is a nice colour, has a sort of sheen to it. Very smart looking.

One thing I really like about it is the 3 large zip sections. A couple of things I'm not sure about though. The grab handles are a lot longer than the ones I'm used to on other Kiplings. Also, I haven't actually used it yet (as I'm still deciding), but when you hold the bag by the long strap, the body of the bag kind of falls on its side, doesn't stay upright. It just seems odd the way it swings over to its side. Might just be because its empty, I should probably try it with some stuff in before I judge - but I have the Zelta as well (another one with 3 large zip sections) and that stays upright when you hold it by the strap.

Would appreciate comments as I'm really in two minds about this. I paid £41 and wonder if I should send it back and see if the price comes down. I only bought it because I really wanted another one like the Zelta.

Also, I believe the straps are not real leather (I don't use leather). On the Kipling website it just states the bag is 100% Polyamide so I assume that includes the straps. Does anyone know about this for sure?

PS Sorry for such a long post :o

I thought I was the only one that was happening too. And some of the price increases have been drastic

    :(

A word of warning about the black heather/brown heather Kiplings.

I've found the 'glitter' is actually a coating & has started to peal off in places :(

I have a black heather Reth, used daily for work since end of 2012 and haven't noticed any peeling. It's absolutely crammed full and weighs a ton, lol.
  • Ive just got a black snake Delphin! Its fab! I have a grey Joslyn for work but its too big for weekends. Like a cross body bag and the Delphin is brill. Can fit my purse etc and even my ereader in the front bit. Only fault is the phone pocket isnt big enough.

Its because of this thread I got one, think it was £22 but was a birthday gift.
I have every possession I want. I have a lot of friends who have a lot more possessions. But in some cases I feel the possessions possess them, rather than the other way round

Have you noticed the 10% off code that has just appeared on some bags - probably why the prices went up first!!
