Just received an e-mail response from Base saying they were sorry but that Amazon either put the wrong description or the wrong picture. They sent me a freepost returns label so will be sending it back.

The good news (for me) is my leather Ellisa arrived 10 minutes ago.

It is well posh :T & has a dust bag & a fab metal monkey in a yellow striped jumper

Plus it's huge. Double the size of my usual Defea Kipling

With the purse/bag fiasco - I've gone down the 'wrong item received' route on the return.
They are sending me a replacement....

Did you just fill out the automated returns form and request a replacement or did you arrange this through live chat?

Automated form route.
Then they emailed me to say checking stock & will get back to me. Then they sent me a refund....
Will wait & see what happens to my return.

They told me they didn't stock anything else (like a bag) - so I have a freepost address to return it to. Also emailed Amazon to say it was listed incorrectly.

well i finally went for the gracy bag in gentle grey i was debating for a long time over the elsie and gabbie bag but now decided got a cheap shopper bag for work and gracy for every day. will probably sell my defea as it is way to big for me.

glad i ordered last night though as the price went from £24.00 to £45.00 :eek:

I think your bag will be lovely crystal. I have a Alvar in gentle grey and love the colour as it goes with so much. I bought a gracy for my daughter (put away for Christmas) and loved the style.

**lowers voice** I have popped Josyln in Turquoise in my bag. I am meant to be staying away from this thread! I bought the Reth in turquoise a couple of weeks ago and love the colour and design. I have now sold four things on eBay which has covered the cost of the Reth. I go back to work on Monday after the holidays and think this might make the perfect work bag to compliment the Reth?

oops that should read basket (as in Amazon basket) not bag
