  • I guess when I ordered it, I knew it was a bit of a gamble - but the more I think about it now, the more angry I feel. I was really looking forward to this bag.

I guess we might have reason to think it was a mistake if it wasn't for the fact that there are similar offers on Amazon every week, where one colour of a bag gets dramatically reduced. They do this so often, I think it's reasonable for us to think this is just the same thing, one colour being on offer, and a simple mistake in the picture, not in the description.
  • I have now also emailed Amazon so we shall see who replies first

I need some advice ladies. As a newcomer to Kipling I've just ordered 4 bags in the last month or so :o

Although I'm happy with the bags themselves, I'm really not into the monkeys so have removed them. Do you think it's worth trying to sell them on Ebay or should I just chuck them away?

Definitely don't bin them - they do sell on ebay. You could sell them on their own or hold on to them and if/when you decide to sell the bag, it's always better if you can sell it with the monkey. Even used Kipling bags have a good resale value. ;)

Does anyone have any idea as to where I can get a new guard from, had a few unsuccessful attempts on ebay, just missed out, any help appreciated
  • Well, I ordered one for myself and one for my Mum for Christmas - one was from Base and one was Amazon. Both have arrived and they are both the small Tops Purse. VERY disappointed. :(

    Definietly don't throw them away.

Either sell on Ebay on their own - or (better) keep them pristine so that if you ever want to sell the bags on (so you can buy others) then you have them all ready.

I also keep all the bags and tags - not to sell as new and mislead people but just to go with the monkey and bag to show it has been looked after.

Also received a purse instead of the Kipling bag this morning - I have e-mailed both Base and Amazon and asked for a returns label and will see what happens - am disappointed but you win some you lose some I suppose. I am grateful though for the link to this as we could have been lucky.
