Where do you live? There are probably a few of us who are returning one to amazon that was bought at the lower price. Perhaps you can meet up with someone local. I'm prob returning a Delana and would prefer to find it a good home than send back.
    hi shop-to-drop,
that is so sweet of you i'm in the far south in kent what colour did you order? i have the alvar and would like one slightly bigger as just not quite big enough for me when going to work and i think the delana is a little bigger it's either this bag or maybe the defea not 100% sure yet. does the delana sit nicely across body? or shoulder?

Just a warning before someone complains:

Why can't I give something to/buy something from someone on the forum?

Erasto has gone down in price again! £30.71
Hmmm, wonder if I should cancel and re-order again?!
  • Received the Orelie from QVC in Turquise Blue and Monkey Mania. Wanted one for me and one for my Mum's birthday. At first glance I'm thinking the Turqoise might be best for Mum as it's really bright - and she did like the Peony Defea I gave her (because it was too bright for me). Mind you I also ordered the Hannelora in Pink Flower Print as I thought she might like that, too. So final decision not being made until I have received them all.

I'm not sure about Monkey Mania, and would really appreciate some advice from you experts. It always seems to sell quickly on QVC so it must be popular, and I love it on telly but in the flesh the background colour is more beige/off white than I expected. I'm not sure if I like it or not. I'm nervous about returning it and then after a while deciding actually I do really like it - after all it does epitomise the brand. Might help if I can get some opinions please. :)

I saw Monkey Mania in a store and was also disappointed as I thought it was a white background so didn't buy it but then I couldn't get it out of my head and today my Orelie came and I love it, so do think carefully before parting with it.

That's exactly how I feel. It looks bright and fresh on screen but in the flesh I'm not sure. It's growing on me to be honest so I think I might keep it :)

if you have seen a price difference go to amazon chat and ask for the difference and they normally refund it for you :)

I ordered the black Cathryn after some deliberation. It arrived today and I'm really happy with it. I love the two different straps, both detachable. The picture showed it with the two straps attached and I was worried it may look rather clumsy. Kipling is quite an addiction, though. Less than a year ago I had none, now I own 7 bags and 2 purses. My favourite is the Reth, or as I call it, the Tardis, because it holds so much.

Thought I'd look up the Reth and it's really nice. They had a lilac one reduced to £30 -
